An old building located in Roquefort des Corbières in the Cathar territory, lovingly renovated into a room and table d'hôte. Entirely independent energetically, Mireille has managed to keep the best of the old and provide modern solutions to meet today's standard of comfort.

The sun is very pleasant in spring and autumn can be vigorous in summer. Sun protection was needed in the patio, a quiet place sheltered from the winds, where everyone likes to relax and have a quiet lunch.

A shade that fits into this magical place to provide freshness for guests' meals throughout the season.

Mireille wanted a lightweight solution, which flies above heads and fits well into these atypical volumes.

A beautiful shade sail seemed an effective and solid idea for creating shade. A few fasteners placed in these beautiful renovated stone walls, and a natural color “sand, orange” was chosen to make this sail.

For several years now, Mireille has installed this sail at the beginning of June and removed it at the end of September.

Apparently the guests of the Domaine enjoy the shade…
